Wow you are so lucky to be there right when he emerged. I am told they need to gather the strength in their wings for a little while after coming out. Great colours on this one. At my daughters kindy they had 5 chrysalis and we were lucky enough to actually see the last Monarch butterfly emerge from its chrysalis. All the teachers and kids were buzzing with excitement.
