This is what I spent my first 2hrs on last Sat night - M78. I knew I wouldn't be able to do it justice with a couple of hours, but have always been curious at this one. As I recall the last time I attempted it I ran out of darkness at Peter's (you know you're in trouble when you start hearing the birds and their "dawn chorus"

Just RGB 5mins unbinned subs, and LOTS of processing torture to get it this far.
I think you'd be looking at a couple nights from a dark site to do justice to this one.
