Thank you for posting this image. Very nice!
I got to see the Carina Nebula properly for the first time under dark skies last Saturday night, 18th Feb. It was a spectacular sight with no filters and just got better with the OIII filter. I had to pan around the nebula to get an idea of its visual extents.
At some point in the future I would like to get into AP but for the time being will have to enjoy the images posted by IIS members.
