There are now less than 8 weeks until the South Pacific Star Party. If you are considering making submissions from outside of Australia, remember to allow at least three to four weeks for the parcel to arrive through the mail. This leaves less than four weeks to finalize your entry and get it posted.
Of cause, the ASNSW cannot be held responsible for mail arriving late. The quality of any country's postal service is beyond anyone's control. for that matter, the sooner you dispatch your entry the less risk it arrives late.
Clive, I understand your sentiments. But by the same token, Scott's many friends at the ASNSW felt that to best honour his memory and promote the niche of astro sketching that Scott championed, that this competition was organised. Anyone who's never sketched then feels inspired to pick up a pencil and paper and sit at the eyepiece and have a shot, I think the competition has earnt its keep.

list of Scott Mellish sketches. The link tags any ASOD entry that has Scott's name quoted in it, including a couple of mine as I mentioned Scott's inspiration in my work. But these two pages are the complete set of work Scott had published on ASOD, the only site that Scott made submissions to.
