M83.

Hi,

Having fun imaging with my new setup.
Decided to stay up late and image M83, a good starter galaxy.
I didn't use my coma corrector, having issues with this, don't think it's matched to the scope. Iv'e almost solved collimation problems, what a bugger of thing to collimate an 8" f/4.
Still I'm happy with the results, considering the problems and hot night.

Telescope, BINTEL skywatcher 8" f/4 astrograph.
HEQ pro 5 mount, impressed with this!
Canon 1100D, prime focus.

8 x 180 sec exp, ISO 800, 3 dark frames and 1 flat.
Stacked in DSS, processed in Photo Shop.

Three images, original stack and two cropped.

Cheers,

Justin.
