I've been using DSLR Remote for what seems like a couple of years now Mike, and it's pretty good. Given that the laptop is set up and running PHD/Maxim anyhow it's not a chore. I run all of this on my MacBook Air with the DSLR Remote server running within OSX and the other two under Fusion4 simultaneously. I quite like it. I wish CCD Labs got off their backsides and furnished a QHY5 that ran on OSX with PHD, then I wouldn't have to run any Widows code at all.
As for the Android offering... what's the point? "No WiFi Required"? If I had to be physically tethered to the camera via USB it'd mean that I couldn't operate the scope remotely from indoors. A larger display I guess, but no real advantage for me.
