Not just in Aus, but worldwide many dealers rebadge them with their own brand. In Nth America the word is that Celestron now have exclusive importation for the new Celestron Starhopper.

To put it simply, they make the best mass produced optics for newtonians and to buy better means buying a premium brand for way more $.
