Thanks Al, yes it helps with signal but as Peter Ward has previously said, its the seeing that beats you more than larger aperture. However I would'nt say no to a 203mm lunt

Thanks Kev. I tend to agree, although inconsistent seeing can make you work hard to extract the detail at higher mags.
