I have decided to sell my Skywatcher 150mm achromat telescope to help pay for some other purchases.

I have had this scope for about 5 years and it is a very good scope and provides excellent high contrast views.

Yes it does have some colour fringing that is typical of an achromatic lens system, but I still used it for both colour and narrow band astrophotography with very good results.

A few years ago, I changed the original SW focuser for a much higher quality early model William Optics (no fine focus control).
You can have the original one as well if you want it.

It also comes with an 8x50 SW finder scope and 2" diagonal.

Everything is is excellent condition with a couple of minor handling marks on the dew shield, as can be seen in the pics.

I'm asking $600 for it plus shipping.

I am just east of Melbourne and so I would prefer it to be picked up, but I'm happy to send it via Pack and Send at buyer's expense.
