I'm a new member of this forum... I hope this is the good place to introduce myself.
First, I'm French (and naturally, I live in France), so I don't speak English very well.
I'm astronomer at Rocbaron Observatory (located in the south of my country), and I'm a member of the Astronomical Society of France (Société Astronomique de France, SAF).
Other thing: you maybe know Webastro which is a french forum (where I've got the same name...)
As you can see, I'm not in the South hemisphere (is it well written? Oh, I also want to progress in English!
), but I want do open my mind by discovering an other astronomical community in the world.
I have three instruments: a Mizar 114/900 on EQ3, a Meade 60/700 on azimutal mount, and a Paralux 70/350 on a simple tripod (for travels).
