The last image in 2005 and the one and only time the gear was out after October-night of dec 30/31

This is from Linden, so reasonably dark site, but the sky glow was something terrible

this is a stack of three ten minute images. ED 80 and canon 300d.

the mount (CG5) was autoguided

stacked in Iris
processed in photoshop
and yes neat image for noise removal -it was a very very warm night so very noisy raw frames

I actually have another half hour of lights at ISO 800 that I'll try and add to this lot to see if I can extract any improvement
