) what a great image, I really like this, simple but meaningful
It is quite surprising what can be achieved from suburban skies actually, Rob Gendler showed this in his early 2000's work with his 12" RCOS and CCD in his driveway in a light polluted suburb of California. I was pleasantly surprised what can be achieved with RGB on the brighter objects from my site too with the fast wide'sh AG12.. and it is pretty light polluted here

It is the faint stuff that can be picked up from dark skies and the lack of gradients is a god send in processing! My deep Cen A from 08 was composed over 3 nights from Wiruna, 7 hrs each night horizon to horizon and I used no gradient removal at all in the final processing
