Some thirty years ago I followed the Moon as it slowly occulted Saturn. I was running in & out of the house, "doing homework", to make the event progress quicker! My little Tasco refractor served me very well to see the last few moments of the disappearing act. I can still see the image of a 'half gone' Saturn quite clearly. It was quite a big deal for me at the time.
