Hi! I'm after some interesting and informative astronomy related documentaries to watch.
I've watched Brian Cox's Wonders of the Solar System and found some of it interesting.. But by the time I got up to the Wonders of the Universe I was absolutely fed up with his dribble about how beautiful, spectacular, amazing and wonderful everything is and his lack of detail and explanations of things that happen in space.
It would be great to listen to some of the worlds leading astronomers, physicists or experts of a particular field go on and explain AND show things which they know a lot about and make the viewers learn something. (but preferably not 2 hours of smart old men with huge glasses and a slow monotone voice sitting in a room talking to a camera)
I'm not really after anything in particular, it could cover things on a universe sized scale down to the quantum world.
Target audience would be someone who knows a bit about astronomy and science in general and has half a brain but doesn't have to have a PhD in Astrophysics to understand it.
It could be fantastic to hear some suggestions
Cheers,
Nick
