Couple of clear nights allowed me some time on the Tarantula in Ha.
Tried pushing 15min subs - this was a test of the GSO RC8 on the HEQ5 Pro mount. Results were mixed as I had to dump a few of the 15min subs due to tracking errors. Dropped time down to 13 mins for a few so this image is made up of a mixed bag of subs.
Total exposure time: 190mins
GSO RC8 + AP 0.67x reducer.
Canon Astro 40D (Avg temp -11º), iso1600
Astronomik 12nm Ha Clip in EOS filter
HEQ5 Pro mount
Guiding: Orion mini guider, QHY5 and PHD
Processing: Nebulosity and Photoshop
