thanks very much for the caution Stuart. I found the lecture to be interesting (the lecturer was annoying, but so what), since it presented a compact summary of aspects of endocrine chemistry that I had not seen before. Like any "the establishment view is wrong" lecture, the message seemed to me to be a little bit glib, but the assertion that something is messing with our feedback mechanisms to cause infant obesity is disturbing.
