This is just a public thank you to a fellow IIS member Mill (Martin).
My D70s blow a fuse in late Nov when I mounted an older nikkor lens on the body without stepping down the aperture ring and locking it. Martin offered to help me fix it.
Cut a long story short, I got the fuses from the US (size of half a grain of rice each
) and dropped my camera off to him before Xmas. He PMed me after New Year saying it's all fixed. Picked it up this morning, all good
Looking at modding the camera at a later stage, as I am in the process of upgrading my DSLR.
I am very grateful for Martin's kindness and glad to have met him through IIS and Snake Valley Camp!
