Hi,

I was down Esperance way for the comet from the 26 -> 28th Dec. On the night of the 27th cloud was approaching from the west and threatening to scupper things, so rather than shoot the comet I decided to do a moon/venus/sunset timelapse over the ocean from Orleans Bay.

As luck would have it, in addition to the moon and venus, it appears I also captured the remnants of an exploding meteor or maybe a rocket trail? It stayed in view for a good 30 minutes and in the timelapse it appears higher than the cyrus and moving in the opposite direction.
