There is no thread on the crayford focuser to take any of my T ring fittings, it only has the sleeved 1.25 eyepiece hole with the internal locking collet. All of my other adapters are threaded adapters, or in the case of the celestron eyepiece projection mounting it actually fits over the top of the visual back and is held on with 2 screws. I am not trying to extend my focal plane back any further I just need a way of fixing the camera to the 1.25 adapter in the Crayford. Which is why i need something with a 1.25 barrell on one end and a thread on the other that goes into the camera T ring. The CA001 from Andrews or Bintel is just that fitting and is just the trick. $29.
