I found a couple of prime/epp units between $89 and $135 . So I can buy a hefty and fairly complicated piece of engineering for $119 and yet an adapter with three threads and three grubscrew is going to cost me the same again. Now I am a tight fisted old scrooge as some of you know, but this is beyond the pale.
I know its less than $100 dollars, not a lot especially when compared with the overall cost of equipment, but right now I almost feel like selling the whole bloody kit and caboodle.
