I was into home brewing for a while. I've still got my pot still in the shed. I made it out of an old pressure cooker, copper tubing, and a large plastic drum as the condensor.
I jammed copper scourers up the tubing to increase the reflux. It worked a treat.
I've still got 4 bottles of whisky I made in 2002, using traditional methods, ageing on french oak chips. I'm not cracking them open until they are quite a few years older.
