Any Takers For A Takahashi Mewlon 180?
I am looking to go a bit up in aperture, and am testing the water with my "toy". I have had it long enough to know it is a cracker, and maybe I will simply get the bigger version, who knows. Before any of this can happen I need to sell this one.
A rare find down under, this Takahashi Mewlon 180 (7') f12 is in lovely condition.
Typical Tak build quality, and optically superb, with refractor-like images. With the planetary session arriving it is ideal, but it also excells on DSO as well.
Complete with front and rear caps, plus 2' adapter, 6x30 finderscope built into the handle.
A couple of small inconsequential 'nicks'.
Priced at US$1850 ONO, plus shipping from NZ.
Currently is riding on a Losmandy G-11, but I feel it would fit on most mounts, tube weighs about 7 kilos.
I have since built a beautiful Rimu (NZ native timber) storage case, and this is optionally available if required.
On group or off group, ask away. I have quite a few images as well.
