First of all, a hypocrisy disclaimer as I'm a major consumer of freebie movies, torrents etc - so that's out there!
To the point...quite 'proud' of my favourite comedian Louis CK for releasing a full length hi-def stand-up performance online for the worldwide price of $5US.
This (I hope) sets a precedent for future content delivery - I'm sure others have tried (Radiohead) with varying success at the time... but now that ADSL broadband is becoming the norm (-ish) hopefully this low cost delivery of quality content is on its way to becoming the norm.
