I'm with you, a completely hopeless sci-fi fan. I just hope Battleship is better that Skyline and Battle for LA. We have had a dearth of good sci-fi in recent times.
Got "Dark of the Moon" on bluray for Xmas and must say, it was better second time around, but then I didn't have any expectations second go a round
