Thanks Darrin, ill be sure to share my experience in comparison to the DSLR. The QHY10 looks like a winner as well, nice specs. Theirs no doubt in my mind that im in this for life, I enjoy astrophotography that much. Do I get a
monochrome CCD with
filter wheel 
big thing to say but, I want this CCD to be the one I keep for a long time coming.
