I've got most of the strange animal noise worked out these days but one night when it was very still I started to hear a pulsating hum (it's hard to describe the sound)
I never heard this sound before and my mind was half expecting a close encounter of the third kind.
It turned out to be the rotation of the blades from the wind farm about 25km away. Now I hear on a still night and I'm not so worried, would have preferred to meet ET though.
