All of O'Mearas guides have a similar format. What I found was from the MEssier book to the Caldwell book and then the Hidden Treasures book, they become progressively thicker and he was writing a lot more on each object. Especially in Hidden Treasures some of what he wrote was "fluff" IMHO. In this books he has gone back to the style of the Messier book, less fluff more substance.
