Yep, and check the length of drawtube travel, like rochler says.
Your newt is almost identical to mine, so i'd make sure of at least 1.5" of travel, if not 2 to be on the safe side.
I ended up changing to a Moonlite CR2 for a variety of reasons.
A lot more $... but a lot more happy
