Yes, to have a good sky I must move from the city (Rome). Consider who are the first tests and I have to understund when to use BIN1, BIN2 .... understand the sampling, the use of very different ratios f, ie, f4, 8 and f8. With dslr now I knew how to handle time expositions and with dsrl there was no binning. With the CCD I have to understand all over again. The question of color with the dslr is complicated. In my opinion, the dsrl works well with short f, as for Newton's very open. With less time (lower noise) can be set lower ISO (eg 400 with the old rebel 350d) and increases the dynamics and thus the ability to manage the noise. The processing is quite different.
