That's a very respectable M42.
You have some tilt in your setup. Stars on the right hand side are alongated yet round on the left side.
Stars in the top right are elongating away from the centre of the image which could be coma coming but most likely induced by the tilt. It may be your tilt is uneven with the bottom right not as tilted as the top right?
Does anyone know if these CCD images we take are upside down and left to right of the actual view?? It would help to know that to work out which side of the actual setup is tilting. Perhaps you'll be able to see it just by looking at it.
