While I haven't done too much with my RC8 and AP67CCD, I don't get these reflections. I used mine attached to a Baader T to 2" nosepiece IIRC, and nothing else, and with the whole lot stuffed as deep as it would go into the 2" FT. Maybe try the slightly different spacing. Mine plate-solved at 1106mm I think.
