HI all,
I thought I'd share a beautiful scene of the moon and Venus taken from 38,000 ft above Turkey today with my iPhone 4.

We had been chasing the setting sun on our Emirates flight from Dubai to Paris, so the sunset took over 2 hours. You can see the crescent moon at the top left and Venus just right of centre. Mercury was also setting, but it was covered by the clouds.

The deep reds of the clouds, and rich blues and greens of the sky reaching as high as the moon were very clear from that altitude.

The faint blobs dotting the image over the engine cowling and wing are out-of-focus drops of moisture and ice on my window.
