You're not wrong there Adam, nice is an understatement, gorgeous even. And I agree, it seems absolutely ludicrous to spend close to what the original ED127 costs, just for a focuser, but when you use this and if you have had focusers like I have had from the respective ED127 scopes, this seems a very good idea.
I know most have Moonlites, and the M/L upgrade is exceptional too, but the R&P of the F/T is just that much better I reckon. Plus, apart from the specific adaptor, owning a focuser like this would become like owning a top quality E/P, if and when you sell the scope, you keep the focuser. Anyway enough sell.

The adaptor is a screw on one, it uses the male 130mm thread that exists on the alloy tube version, and yes, screws straight on. Rotation of the focuser is accomplished by way of the three "yellow" colored knobs spaced about the front section of the focuser proper, this is a Teflon adaptor which allows silky smooth rotation.
