Even though it's a 'humorous' photo, I took it seriously from the onset. 6-7 hours work for me from conception to posting it. The photos I treated the same as any other I take: noise reduction/sharpening/etc. the same as I would a picture of Saturn or a sunset. It's mainly directed at the kid in us all obviously.
I won a few small 'film' making awards in high school (horror & sci-fi mix)....but not in the usual fashion, they were presented the way as this double B shot above, like a comic strip but using photos. No computers back then, so it was intensive work with film/props. As houghy says...it's art using still shots from a camera.
Anyway, good to hear some opinions on this as I wasn't sure if I was being looked upon as a nutcase/non-serious amateur astronomer or someone just trying to keep the forum entertained with a few crazy photos. Everyones entitled to their opinion, & the minute I find out these kind of shots are not wanted in this forum I'll stop. The more opinions I get the better. Be honest!
Be thankful I don't post bob & B1 horror-sci-fi's!!....because I have them on my computer just ready to be unleashed on an unsuspecting forum!! (don't worry Mike I'll never post 'em in your forum mate.
