Hi all
Still experimenting with the 180mm lens and think I've found a combo that works .
I have the 180 ED wide open at F2.8 for 5mins per exposure ( any longer and I would have to guide ) and use a 13nm Ha filter instead of the 6nm this seems to give a less noisy result , although lets through a lot more stars.
Total exposure 45 min on each median combine and a bit of PS work.
