Yeah, PI's background extraction can do some good things for gradients, and there are some objects that are just merry hell to sort....
GradX is a gem though..
Always good to have a backup when one fails..

Thanks Greg, Im waiting to see what reprocessing can do to the grayscale shots. A colour shot would have horrendous gradients to battle with unless a dark site was used..
