Exciting time having never capturing this before, bom showed clear skys at 0200hrs
With out introducing a heap of noise, just a quick m42. The cloud coverage up here in the NT is somewhat a plague to say the least, my session was cut short. As this was the 1st time with this DSO, I experimented with all types of iso's and exposures to get the best. A file full of mixed capture, but in the end 1x 5min 1x 3min 4x 1min 5x 15sec all @800iso.(sensor temp 37 degrees) Processed in AP CS5.
With the help of a Newton 8" f/5, baader MPCC, Canon 550d on a EQ6 pro.
