My understanding :-

The lake is formed from glacial melt so it contains finely ground up rock called glacial flour suspended in the water.
This strengthens the faint blue colouring that is inherent in any body of water by increasing the scattering of this colouring back to the surface, some of the light is also shifted towards the green, hence the turquiose colour.
