You will need a 10m ladder.
You do realise that, according to Workcover NSW, a 1 in 4 slope (about 75 deg) on the ladder is around as steep as you can use safely?
That puts you 2m off the house (or 2m from the eave if any).
If there is only 1m of space were you planning on putting the foot of the ladder in the pool?
