Hello,
The spell of good seeing above the skies of Brisbane continues, producing some wonderfully detailed images of decaying sunspot AR1339 and the mid-disc regions of AR1341 & AR1342.
Using a full aperture solar filter made from Baader astro solar film 3.8 allowed me to use an exposure of 1/2000 sec, which further contributed to the “freezing” of the Earth’s atmosphere, or at least the slender column of air rising above Brisbane.
With temperatures hovering around 30°C the equipment was running a little hot, not to mention the operator!
Cheers
Dennis
