Astronomik Type II LRGB filters are good value and widely used, Astrodon LRGB 2 True Balance I-series filters are more expensive and their transmission curves look a bit better than do those of the Astronomik filters. I suppose it depends on how serious you want to be about it. Many very fine images have been produced with the Astronomik filters.
