Samyang 35mm F1.4 FOR CANON EOS

This lens is in mint condition bought for a trip to Nepal just a couple of months ago but I've now decided not to take it so it must go (along with a lot of other goodies see my other postings). This is an astounding lens for the money - check out any of the reviews on the web. It outperforms the Canon 35/1.4L in sharpness. The build is exceptional and focus smoother than anything I've ever tried. Haven't tried it for such but would expect it would be ideal for widefield astrophotography.

NOTE - this is a MANUAL FOCUS lens and Aperture is set manually via a ring. I've fitted an aftermarket chip so that you can get Focus Confirmation (red square bip) while focussing manually and can program in other things such as aperture to record in the image data. See instructions attached.

These retail for around $600 without the chip IF you can find them. I'm asking $495 inclusive of standard postage anywhere in Australia.

Price includes front and end caps, lens hood, and original box.

First to PM me they'll take it get's it.

PAYMENT by Direct Bank Account deposit and Paypal only.

If it doesn't sell by Monday I'll pull and place on ebay.

thanks for looking :-)
