Don't worry about rushing to upgrade your scope. I had a 4 1/4" (114mm) reflector for 19 years before I upgraded to my current 12" monster. And I loved every bit of viewing through it. Just that now I can hunt down those faint fuzzies a lot (a real lot) easier.
Take your time upgrading until you are 100% sure you are getting what you need for your style of viewing: Planetary, Deep Sky, Astrophotography, Widefield, etc.
At least you have a scope to use in the meantime that will allow you to learn the sky!
