Yes, frustration but also satisfaction of conquering a technical challenge. The greatest reward comes from the more difficult challenges. I'm nearish retirement and in a crap job, no prospects or real value so I see it as an ongoing 'project' that keeps me mentally active and engaged. Probably spend more time at work thinking my way round ideas and solutions astronomically than real 'work'. (and posting on here )
There is no price on that kind of reward. I'll be up in the $10k-$15k area by the time I start getting decent results I reckon.

Could be worse, I was going to go serious on motorsports and you can blow $10-S15k on one event ... anyone want to buy a turbo hatch club car ? Cheap ?
