Thanks guys, they are quite a shy critter. this fellow obviously had enough of being photographed though. In all the years of seeing Bluetongue's I have rarely seen them get this cranky.
He later headed off towards the road so I had to don a pair of gloves and move him to the safety of the forrest. It also gave me a chance to check him for ticks as well, despite his protests.
