I agree with the 85mm F1.8. When I was up in Perth a few weeks ago at my favourite camera shop, I ended up getting one. I would put it in the same basket as my 50mm F1.4 for quality and price. I think it's hard to beat for those a little budget conscious but don't want to compromise big time.
BTW, lovelly photos H! I like the B&W one with the isolation of the 2 girls. You know it's a wedding but that photo somehow has an extra dimension that the two girls are totally separated from the circus that a wedding sometimes ends up being.
