Hi Mark,
The detail you are trying to achieve during live preview will be 100 to 1000 times worse than images you will get after processing. Just try to achieve the best image you can then take 2-3000 frames and then use the processing techniques to most probably get the result you are trying to achieve.
Seeing conditions also affect final image as well.
