It was clear here last night and I was able to image 79P Gehrels last night.


Image details:
Mount: Astro-Physics AP 1200GTO
Scope: 12 inch Ritchey-Chretien f/8 working at f/5.4 (FL=1630mm)
CCD Camera: QHY9, 8.3M pixels, 5.4uM pixels square
Binning: 4x4
Filters: Hutech IDAS LPS-P2
Camera Temperature: -25 Degrees C set point
Exposure: 4x300s
Field Size: 37.8 x 28.5 arcmin
Comments: The image was binned 4x4 to increase chip sensitivity (which also results in an increase in noise) to reduce exposure time and hence comet trailing.
