Barry, thanks for your promt reply

The problem was as you suggested. The "Time Zone Plugin" was defaulting to a wacky UTC offset instead of my "System Settings".
It is now starting up using my "system settings" as default and the Sun and moon are where they should be, both inside and outside my home.
