Powermate is the best by far IMO. While I'm in no way a seasoned planetary imager, I did notice a huge improvement when I went from a Meade 3x barlow to a TeleVue 5x Powermate. There was just no comparison!

I have attached two of my Jupiter images for illustration. The first is with the 3x barlow, and the second is with the Powermate, taken some 6 months later.

I would expect a TeleVue barlow to have better optics than the Meade I used, but I'd still choose the Powermate any time. I'm very happy with mine, and it works excellent with my eyepieces as well.
